Fire Service Photography

As it has come to my attention that someone unknown to me has used my photos and website to complain about a local dept. regarding their safety practices to OSHA I decided to shut my site down for 5 days. I am a strong supporter of safety on the fireground, but the intention of this site to provide photos to learn from. The information I have at this time it appears someone is trying to "get back" at this department and to use safety as a platform to do it with is wrong. Safety is something that needs to be taught and learned not forced down a department's throat. There are many traditions in the fire service and safety needs to become one of them, that will take time, energy, and patience; not negativity and finger pointing.

I hope this was temporary and now I feel that can display my work without it becoming a tool for those who simply want to sling mud at other firefighters.
